I can’t say enough about the Nawalakw Culture Project and the people behind it.
The vision and the way this initiative is rapidly coming to life via a process bathed in respect, care, and community is truly a force to behold. The team behind this are people I admire, who have taught me much by example.
This project is being built on Ḵwiḵwa̱sut'inux̱w Ha̱xwa'mis territory in a remote watershed, not far from where I live on this unceded territory.
Thank you to the Nawalakw team for trusting me to communicate this vision via this film project, and for everyone who contributed to its creation.
